Hey Lauren, A lot of people don't realize the negative effect of using leather and fur for clothing. Not just for the animal's sake, but the environment is impacted too. The alternatives that you discussed would be very beneficial and would help limit this problem. Also, your idea would expose a lot of people to this problem in hopes that they might change their ways to help solve it. Great job!
Hi Lauren, I did not know about this problem without your pitch I would have never known that this was a problem. It is a problem for us, the environment and for the animals. We are harming the animals for out own ridiculous benefit. Taking the life of an animal is immoral for someone for the wrong purpose. Your idea is great because it raises awareness for a small problem that is actually very big when taking it into consideration. People do not know what they are doing wrong but with this pitch it shows a problem they don't even know and then shows a solution.
